South Korean girl group that debuted in 2009 under Core Contents Media. Orginally there were five members in the group (Jiae, Jiwon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon) they released their first song "Good Person" for the soundtrack of the Korean drama Cinderella Man in April 2009. Not too long ago two members of T-ara decided to withdraw from the group due to different style of music.(Jiae and Jiwon) In July 2009 Core Contents Media had a addition of (Boram, Soyeon, and Qri) to make six members group T-ara.The meaning of t-ara is basically a crown that Queens and princesses wore. And fans of T-ara is called (The Queens) The names of the group and fans are all related as one.
In 2011 T-ara signed a contract with management company J-Rock for their Japanese debut. Different from other Korean singers group T-ara is using rotating leader system in which a different member of the group is elected as leader each year, in order to give both the group and the individual members the opportunity to grow in a new direction.
In this year of 2013 T-ara has comeback with a band new songs called (Number 9 & I know the feeling) Since they have debuted their songs has been on hit in Korean music chart such as good person, pop peep, roly poly, cry cry, day by day, lovey dovey and more.
